Random Ramblings: 2 New Blog Series

Hello Everyone!

How's your Sunday? Thought I'd pop in and introduce 2 new blog series I will be having on my blog soon. I'm setting myself a blogging challenge to blog not only about beauty but also about crafts (which is my passion and hobby). The 2 new series to the blog would be 'Make It Monday' and 'Shop Asian Beauty Online'. I'll talk a little about each below.

I've actually been wanting to do a Make It Monday series for a long time now. I craft and paint a lot, about twice per week actually. I do it because it's a way for me to release stress. I can get lost in my little world of creations and not worry about anything else. So, why haven't I made a blog post on these crafts? Because once I get lost in that world of creations of mine, I often forget to take pictures of my process. You may say 'Why not just film it?' I will have to answer that I have filmed a couple of my creations, but it's the video editing part that's lagging the posts. However, a little reminder was all I needed really (sticky notes above my worktable). I've been able to capture my last couple of DIYs and I want to share them with you. I've been taking pictures of my easier crafts and filming the more difficult ones. I will eventually crank out the video crafts, but you'll need to give me some time for that. The first craft is tomorrow, are you excited?

As for the 'Shop Asian Beauty Online' series, it's quite a long story, so I'll give you the TL;DR version. I was out at lunch with a friend, who knows I'm obsessed with Asian skin care products. She wanted to know where to purchase Asian beauty products and what my thoughts are on the different online shops that sell them. So we started talking about them and it soon became information overload for her. She said she wished there was an archive of these stores and people's thoughts and experiences on them. That was my light bulb moment. I thought, why not create one.

So that's what the 'Shop Asian Beauty Online' series will be about. I want to share my thoughts and experiences on online Asian beauty stores and also share what they are known for (e.g. unique products, deals and steals, etc.) However, it's not just my thoughts and experiences, any input from you, my readers, would be greatly appreciated as well. Tell it all, the good, bad, and ugly. Maybe you know something about a certain store that I do not, or there are other Asian beauty stores that I never knew about out there that you think is worth a try. Maybe someone had a bad experience with a store 2 or 3 years ago, however, now the store's model has changed for the better, but they might not know about it. Share about them, let me and anyone else who reads this blog learn about them. The only thing that I ask is to keep anger and frustration out of the comments. I understand negative experiences can be very frustrating sometimes, I've been there. But if you go too out of line in your comments, I will have to take if off.

Anyways, the first post of this series will be next week and it's on a shop I've been shopping at for over 5 years now. Please look forward to it! I will leave you all with a cute picture of Momo like always. Isn't he so cute, even when he's sleeping?

Until next time and dream big!
