Random Ramblings: Two's Better Than One

Hello~
Momo and teddy

It's been a while since I wrote a Random Ramblings post. Thought I'd start with a cute picture of Momo from when he was a tiny boy. I've been dealing with some allergic reaction related stuff in the past 2 month. It's kinda pollen season all year round here in California and some months are worse than others. So posts have been coming out rather slowly these past couple weeks. But now that I'm a lot better, blog posts should be coming out during the regular schedule.

You might be wondering why the title of this RR is 'Two's Better Than One' and that is because Dreams To Creations now has a second writer. Actually, this second writer has been with DTC since the beginning, she just haven't published a post yet, though she's written a few drafts. If you've seen the About Us page, you would know that the second writer is my Mom! My love for beauty adventures comes from her. We both love trying out new things and experimenting with beauty products to find our holy grail items. We love sharing beauty secrets with each other (usually over afternoon tea or dim sum) as well as the latest trends and what we think each other should try. We both have busy lives, so having mother daughter quality times and talking about things we both enjoy is very special to us.

Our skin types are very different. Mine is combination to oily, acne prone and sensitive, while my mom's is normal to dry, not acne prone nor sensitive. (Lucky her, I'd say!) We are not beauty gurus nor experts. Rather, we are beauty addicts in search of the best products for our skin and would like to share our adventures with anyone who's interested. In case those products might be helpful for you as well.

We are both interested in beauty from within as well as skincare products. (I guess the like mother like daughter phrase could be inserted here.) Since what we eat is just as important as what we put on our skin, we like to experiment from both sides. Mom's got quite the list of amazing recipes too and I love recreating them! We both love neutrals, in terms of makeup, and while mom loves the red/dark red lip looks, I'm more of the light gradient lips/coral gal (I used to be just lip balm, so I'd say this is a big step up. Maybe one day I'll get more into bold lips, but for now I'll stick with gradient lips!) Mom's more into hair products than I am, although now that I've found a couple of amazing hair treatments, I think I want to venture into this realm as well. I could probably go on forever about our shared interests and differences, but I'll stop here for today. So I don't bore you to death (if you are already bored, oops, but glad you stick around~)

Anyways, we haven't decided if we are going to make symbols or something to differentiate between my posts and my moms. If that is something you'd like, please let us know in the comments below and we'll work on something. That's it for this week's random ramblings, hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Until next time and dream big!

xoxo

DTC
