Product Description: The CC Ultra Moist Cushion is meant to be a long-lasting and moisturizing cushion. It has sun protection of SPF 50+ PA+++ to protect the skin from harmful UV rays. The cushion is formulated with various nourishing ingredients to help improve the skin's resilience, provide moisture, smooth the skin, and more.

To Use: Use the puff provided to apply the product. Dip the puff into the cushion and pat lightly on the face for an even coverage. If needed, apply a second layer to areas that needs more coverage.

Packaging: This set is honestly so cute and chic. The cushion comes in a little bag that can be used to store other small trinkets. The cushion itself is in a sleek black case with the handbag design on the front. It is about the same size as most common cushions and it has a built-in mirror. Like many cushions, the cushion part can be popped out for refills in the future.

Scent: The cushion has a sweet floral scent that is noticeable before application. However, once applied the scent dissipates quickly.


Color: This cushion comes in 3 shade options and they are V103 Pure Beige, V201 Apricot Beige, and V203 Natural Beige. The shade I have is V203 Natural Beige which is close to most N23 cushion shades.

Formula & Texture: Like most cushions, its texture is like a liquid foundation. It is light and easy to apply with the provided puff. The cushion is formulated with collagen to help improve the skin's resilience. It also contains extracts like calendula, ceramide, lavender, rosemary, etc. to calm, moisturize, soothe, rejuvenate and nourish the skin. Giving it a healthy and glowy look.

Helen's Thoughts: One of my biggest wishes for cushion products is for companies to offer a wider range of color options. Shade 23 in most cushion products are just a tad light for me but I can still make it work for the winter/spring seasons. However, when summer rolls around, the shade would be too light for me and I would not be able to use it. So it is rather unfortunate when I find a cushion with a great formula that I like but I cannot use if for the summer time due to its limited shade options. The Face Shop My Other Bag Cushion in V203 Natural Beige is a bit light for my skin. However, since it is winter time and I have lost most of the tan I have gained over summer I have managed to make it work for now.

I really like the formula this cushion has to offer. It is really moisturizing and great for my normal to dry skin type. I think this cushion would be a bit too moisturizing for those with oily skin types. Although for those with combination skin types living in areas with really cold winters, this cushion might be worth a try. As it is really moisturizing and it might be able to shield the skin against the harsh cold weather. I was surprised by the cushion's long lasting power. It can last throughout my work day without breaking down. With the help of a good primer, it can last even longer. Plus, it does not settle into my fine lines. The cushion leaves a healthy looking glowy finish and has a light to medium coverage which is just what I need. The coverage can be built up more as well, but try not to layer too much as it can become cakey after a few layers.

Final Thoughts:  I really like this cushion and would have given it 5 hearts if it offers more shade options. While V203 (aka shade 23 for most cushions) is a close match for me and I can use it, it is still not the perfect match. It is slightly disappointing to find a cushion with a great formula and performance only for it to fall short in its shade options. However, the great formula and performance are the reasons why I kept this cushion around with me. So it is still a good cushion.

Would I purchase it in the future? If The Face Shop comes out with more shade options for this cushion, I would love to purchase it. Do I think this is worth a try? If shade is not an issue for you and this cushion offers all the functions you look for in a cushion, than give it a try! Especially those with dry and dull skin types, you will love its moisturizing & brightening effects!
