J.One Jelly Cushion By Re:cipe Review

J.One Jelly Cushion By Re:cipe

Hey Dreamers and Creators!

What is your ideal cushion? My ideal cushion has to have decent coverage, moisturizing properties, a lightweight formula, sun protection, and has a natural looking finish. Of course, the shade has to be right too and these days that can be so hard for some reason. Still, that does not stop me from testing out cushions I want to try. I have been wanting to try this J.One Jelly Cushion since last year and I finally purchased it a little while ago. I initially held off on the purchase because at full price it can be quite expensive. Shelling out a ton of money for something I may or may not like was not ideal, so I decided to wait. Luckily, there was a sale on this cushion, so I purchased it right away. I wanted to test it and see if it could be my ideal cushion. Read on to find out!

The Face Shop My Other Bag Cushion Review

The Face Shop My Other Bag Cushion - Sophia

Hey Dreamers and Creators!

Today I want to share my review of The Face Shop My Other Bag CC Ultra Moist Cushion. The Face Shop My Other Bag line has 3 different types of cushions with 3 different designer bag designs. The one I have here is Sophia, there is also Joy (which is the CC No Sebum Moisture cushion) and Jackie (which is the CC Intense Cover Cushion). I got this cushion from BB Cosmetics, which is an online Asian Beauty shop. They offer a good selection of makeup and skincare products. I was drawn to this cushion partially due to its neat design and also due to the fact that I have never tried The Face Shop's cushions before this. So, it is quite exciting to finally try a cushion from them and see how it compares to the other cushions I have already tried.

Iope Air Cushion XP Natural Review

Iope Air Cushion XP

Hey Dreamers and Creators!

What's your go to cushion foundation? I have a couple at the moment and one of them is this Iope Air Cushion. I have been using this for almost 8 months now and with the 2 refills (I still have 1 unopened refill), it'll surely last me for a few more months. I got this cushion set and more in my first Lotte haul and at the time I was confused as to why I was getting such a good deal (lol). However, seeing as Iope upgraded their cushion and released their 4th generation cushion early this year it made a lot more sense. The one I'm reviewing today is the 3rd generation cushion. I wasn't sure if I was going to post this review or not since a new edition was released and all. However, since I am getting the 4th edition soon and I want to be able to do a comparison post, to show you guys the differences between the two, I thought it would be best to post this anyways.

Innisfree Water Glow Cushion Review & Swatches

Innisfree Water Glow Cushion Review
Hey Dreamers and Creators!

Cushions, are like collectibles. Once you try one, you want to try them all. At least, that's how I feel about them. It's not so much the way they look that makes me want to try them all but it's more so that I want to find the ones that work's the best for me. Chances are, not every cushion I come across is going to be perfect but that's okay. That's what makes the journey fun and I get to learn a lot in the process too! After all, each new cushion I get to try tells me something more about my preferences for cushions. So it gives me more information on the types of cushions I want to try next.

Having tried both the Ampoule Intense cushion and the Long Wear cushion from Innisfree, it was no surprise that I would also try the Water Glow cushion as well. In fact, I bought the Water Glow cushion the same time I purchased the Long Wear cushion. I wanted to see how the 3 compares and what better way to find out than to try them out. I honestly thought the Long Wear cushion would turn out to be my favorite of the 3, but I was wrong. Instead, the least expected cushion turned out to be the one I like the most.

Etude House Precious Mineral Moist Any Cushion Review

Etude House Precious Mineral Moist Any Cushion Review

Hey Dreamers and Creators!

What's your favorite cushion makeup? I have been on the hunt for the perfect cushion and I'll be honest, I haven't found it yet. I have found a few that I like but none of them are the perfect, I-would-buy-this-forever type of cushion. So my hunt continues.

During my journey of finding the perfect cushion, I decided to try out Etude House's Precious Mineral Moist Any Cushion. (Man, Asian beauty products and their long names, seriously.) The Precious Mineral Moist Any Cushion is a cushion that a lot of people likes and it is budget friendly, so I thought why not. Aside from the Moist cushion, Etude House also have the regular version, the Magic version and the new Pearl Aura version. I decided to purchase the Moist version because I wanted to try out their moisturizing cushion and compare it to Innisfree's Ampoule Intense cushion. Anyways, let's get to know this Precious Mineral Moist Any Cushion.

Innisfree Long Wear Cushion Review

Innisfree Long Wear Cushion Review

Hey Dreamers and Creators!

When I first started my cushion hunt I knew I'd be trying out many before discovering my favorites. Instead of spending a boatload on super expensive cushions right off the bat, I thought I'd try my hand at some inexpensive ones first. This way I can figure out my likes/dislikes with cushions before deciding which expensive ones I want to try. Plus, I might just find some inexpensive ones I like along the way.

I did some research and Innisfree cushions looked nice and fairly inexpensive, so I knew I wanted to try them. There are 3 types of Innisfree cushions: the Ampoule Intense, Long Wear, and Water Glow. I got all three to try and compare. I've already reviewed the Ampoule Intense cushion, and I plan on doing a comparison of all 3 Innisfree cushions in the future. For now, let's get into today's review of the Innisfree Long Wear Cushion!

Review: Innisfree Ampoule Intense Cushion

Review: Innisfree Ampoule Intense CushionHey Beauties~

It's Michelle! Today I am back with a review on Innisfree's Ampoule Intense Cushion. Last week has been tough but Momo is now doing a little better than before. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes on Instagram

Did you know that as the season changes, your skin type might change as well? This means your skin care products could change to fit the season. So why keep the same makeup routine year round? When a change might be all it needs to keep that flawless look. I took a chance and changed my cushion makeup since I have combination skin type in the winter/spring/fall times and oily skin type in summer, so I thought a change could do some good, and it did. The cushion I am currently using and have been using for the past 4 month is Innisfree's Ampoule Intense Cushion. It promises to keep moisture and dewy-ness for up to 24 hours. Which is perfect for the cold and dry winter seasons and for the cool and windy spring/fall seasons.

Innisfree offers 3 types of cushions which are the Water Glow, Long Wear and Ampoule Intense (their newest addition late last year). I find that the Water Glow would be perfect for spring and fall seasons as it moisturizes and provides a healthy, dewy glow. The Long Wear for summer times as it controls sebum, provides a semi-matte finish so the skin doesn't look oily/shiny, and it provides long lasting coverage. Last but not least, Ampoule Intense for winter seasons as it moisturizes the skin and shields it from the harsh cold and dry winter air. The Ampoule Intense cushion could also be good for spring or fall seasons, as it have some similar properties as the Water Glow cushion.
