Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask: Black Berry Review

Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask: Black Berry

Hey Dreamers and Creators!

I had a really fun mask to share with you all, but it looks like that has to wait. My computer went crazy and my pictures went bye bye. I usually double-save them to my removable hard drive but I didn't do it this time (T_T). So yeah, will have to redo those from the start.

Anyways, today's review will be on the Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask in Black Berry. (They probably mean blackberry, but we'll stick with black berry as 2 words since that's how it's named.) I've used this mask multiple times and I just used it last night actually to finish up one of my last ones. Read on to learn more about this masks and see my thoughts on it!

It's Real Squeeze Mask: Black Berry front packaging

Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask
1 mask, $1.2 - $2, Black Berry

Product Description: A sheet mask formulated with blackberry extract to help make the skin firm and supple. It can also help with reducing wrinkles as well. The mask contains Innisfree's signature Jeju green complex which consists of green tea, tangerine, cactus, camellia leaves, and orchid to help keep the skin healthy. The sheet is also unique in that it's created with a triple layered sheet to provide that long lasting moisturizing effect and allow the essence to flow into your skin and nourish it.

To Use: Cleanse and tone the face first. Take the mask out of its packaging and apply it over the entire face. Leave the mask on for 10 to 20 minutes, remove and dab in the remaining essence until it's absorbed.

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Blackberry Juice(200mg), Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Dimethicone, PEG-100 Stearate, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Ethylhexylglycerin, Potassium Hydroxide, Adenosine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tangerine Peel Extract, Orchid Extract, The green Tea Extract, Camellia Leaf Extract, Prickly Pear Extract, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance.

English ingredients list and directions

Packaging: The packaging is pretty and simple. The front includes a picture of the main ingredient featured and the back side includes instructions, descriptions and more. What's great is that the mask contains both Korean and English, so no need to go translate ingredients!

Texture: The texture of the sheet mask is pretty average. The triple layer feels nice in hand but still easily tear-able.

Scent: This Black Berry It's Real Squeeze mask from Innisfree has a fruity berry like scent. It does smell a little bit like black berries, but that scent is also mixed in with other fruit scents. The mask does contain fragrance as well.

Color: The essence are milky white in color that's also a bit opaque as well.

My Thoughts: This is one of the few masks in the Innisfree It's Real Squeeze line that does not include ethanol as an ingredient. I thought I'd point it out since there are people who avoid this ingredient. Anyways, I've used this mask multiple times before and each time I come to the same conclusion. It's good but not great. It would never become part of my HG mask collection and I'm just trying to finish the few I have left of it since I bought a bunch during Innisfree's sale. It was dirt cheap!

I think the biggest issue I have with this mask is the stickiness it leaves after I take off the mask. Although it eventually goes away, it's still not pleasant. I've actually try to leave this mask on for longer than 30 minutes. hoping it would lessen on the stickiness. Unfortunately, stickiness is still there. This mask would probably be better for those with dry to normal skin types as it is very moisturizing. However, it is a little too much for my combo to oily skin, which might explain the stickiness left behind by the mask. I really like the scent on this mask, it is very pleasant. Looking past the stickiness, the mask does do a great job at moisturizing the skin and my face feels supple the next morning which is nice. Since the sheet mask is also easily tear-able, I can adjust the mask to fit my face easily.

Sheet mask selfie coming up!

Pros:
-moisturizing
-firm and supple
-pleasant scent
-affordable
-easy to use

Cons:
-can be sticky after removal

My Rating: ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

Final Thoughts: I really like the Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask line, mainly because they are so affordable. Especially when Innisfree have sales on them, it's like half the price. So I can use these masks everyday without breaking my bank. While I love the scent and moisturizing effects of this Black Berry mask, the stickiness it leaves behind is the main issue. I don't think I would repurchase this mask in the future. There are over a dozen masks in the It's Real Squeeze line and many other masks from elsewhere. I am sure I can find another mask with amazing moisturizing properties that won't leave a sticky feeling on my skin after use.
