Tonymoly Magic Food Mango Hand Butter Review

Tonymoly Magic Food Mango Hand Butter Special Edition Set

Hey Dreamers and Creators!

Early this year we made a purchase via KoreanBuddy, a shopping service located in South Korea. One of the many things we purchased was this Tonymoly Magic Food Mango Hand Butter Special Edition Set. I (Michelle) really wanted it. Since it came in a set with 2 hand creams, it means we both could have one each. Especially since we both ended up loving the scent of this hand butter.

Tonymoly collaborated with 130BO to create this limited edition set. It features 130BO's signature character design and it's quite unique. The collaboration line includes the Mango hand butter, Banana hand cream, Banana lip balm, Banana sleeping pack, and a mini hand mirror. We almost got the Banana products but decided to opt for Mango instead. Let's get to know it!

Packaging: I love the design of this Mango Hand Butter set (hence why I bought it). The 130BO design adds character to the cute mango shape. The special edition set came with 2 hand creams, one of which is in the mango shape while the other is in the usual hand cream tube. The mango shaped hand cream is stored in a squeeze tube with a twist-off lid. The box packaging includes information about the product in both English and Korean. Awesome~

Scent: Mango Pudding. It smells delicious. Seriously. I love, love it. I thought it would smell like artificial mango, however, the unexpected mango pudding scent it has was a surprise for sure. Both my mom and I love it a lot. When we go to dim sum, we always get mango pudding, so this was a treat.

Color: The hand butter is mainly white in color with a tint of cream.

Texture: The hand butter is definitely thick in texture but I don't think it's as thick as some other hand butters are. Since it needs to be able to come out of a squeeze tube with a small opening. The texture is more like a thicker hand cream. It spreads easily though and absorbs into the skin quickly without leaving behind any sticky feelings.

Michelle's Thoughts: I LOVE this Magic Food Mango Hand Butter. I'm so glad we got it. (We got the 2016 special gift set which comes with a 45ml mango shaped hand cream and a 30ml tube version too.) The scent of this hand cream is just lovely and it's one of the many reasons why I love this hand care product so much. A big positive of this hand butter is its moisturizing effects. It is definitely very moisturizing and feels amazingly soothing on the hands. While the cream might be on the thicker side, it just melts into the skin and doesn't leave behind any sticky feelings.

This is also a very nourishing hand cream. A look at the ingredient list shows that the hand butter contains quite a lot of nourishing oils and extracts. When applied, it definitely feels nice on the skin. The hand butters are also travel friendly and the packaging is A+!
