Memebox Intro to K-Pop Star Makeup Box #SoHot Vol. 3 Unboxing

Intro to K-Pop Star Makeup Box #SoHot Vol. 3

Hey Dreamers and Creators!

How's you day been so far? Today I want to share with you all an unboxing post of Memebox's Intro to K-Pop Star Makeup box #SoHot Vol. 3. You might remember that I did an unboxing of the K-Pop Star Makeup box #SoCute Vol. 2 not too long ago and mentioned this box in that post. These 2 boxes are very similar because they both contain Memebox brand items, both have similar items types, some repeats, and for me, both boxes contains colors that can complement each other.

If you are new to Memebox, they are a beauty box company based in US, China, and South Korea. They sell non-subscription boxes and Korean beauty products via their online website. They also sell their own line of cosmetics and skin care products as well. If you check my Memebox tag on the blog, you'll see all the Memebox boxes and products I've reviewed. Anyways, let's meet the goodies I got in this box!

Meme Mask Hydrogel Mask

Meme Mask Hydrogel Mask
1 mask, $3

Product Description: Nutrient rich hydrogel mask that can works to brighten and moisturize the skin. It can be used at night time to unwind from a long day, or used before makeup application to hydrate and even out skin texture. To use, cleanse and tone the face first. Apply the mask and remove it after 15 minutes.

My Thoughts: These masks seems to pop up in all of my Memeboxes lately. I mentioned in my previous unboxings that when I get to use these Meme hydrogel masks, I'll be sure to do a review on them. So for now, they'll just sit nicely in my mask basket.

I'm Pro Mascara #02 Volume and Curl
I'm Pro Mascara
$14, #02 Volume and Curl

Product Description: A mascara with a C-curl shape wand. This mascara will help make the lashes look fuller with its new and improved formula. The new formula is also lightweight and can hold the curls much longer than the previous formula. The I'm Pro Mascara is also enriched with vitamin E, collagen and keratin to provide nourishment to the lashes to keep them healthy and long.

My Thoughts: I got this mascara in a previous Memebox, so unless I end up really loving this mascara, it'll most likely be given away. I'm so picky about mascaras and it's one of the few product areas that I still use none AB products for. It just seems to work. However, that doesn't mean I'm not excited to try this. I would start testing this out early, but I'm currently on a trip, that's ending soon, so I will try it out when I get home.

I'm Lip Liquid #RD600
I'm Lip Liquid
8g, $16, #RD600

Product Description: An innovative lip liquid that is designed with water-wrapping technology for a beautiful gloss that does not compromise color payoff. It's formulated with Argan oil, manuka honey extract, and rosehip oil as its key ingredients. They will help to keep the lips feeling soft and moist. The lip liquid can be used to create gradient lip looks, bold lip looks, and even used as blush by mixing it with a bit of foundation.

My Thoughts: Lip liquids and I don't usually get along because many have that watery texture on the lips that never seems to dry. Plus, my easily chapped and dry lips are just not compatible with them because lip liquids tend to accentuate every dry and chapped spot. However, I admit, I do really want to test these out as well. That description of water-wrapping technology sounds really interesting.
I'm Cream Shadow #03 My Wannabe
I'm Cream Shadow
$7.5, #03 My Wannabe

Product Description: A gorgeous bronzey gold cream shadow. This is a multi-faceted pearl pigment cream shadow that goes on smoothly and it's long lasting too. Its formula allows for great pigmentation with minimal fall outs.

My Thoughts: Ah, another cream eyeshadow. I'm really interested in these although testing them will have to be after I get back from my almost ending trip. The My Wannabe is a brozeny gold color. I can't decide if I'll like it or not by just looking at it, I'll have to test it out. I'm excited to see how long lasting these cream shadows will be.
I'm Tint Balm #RD005 Rose Burgundy
I'm Tint Balm
$7, #RD005 Rose Burgundy

Product Description: A moisturizing tint balm that's infused with herbal ingredients to moisturize and nourish the lips. It reacts to the natural temperature of your lips and sets a flattering shade that will last.

My Thoughts: When I first got this, I wondered why the packaging looks different than the other I'm tint balm I have on hand from Memebox. After a bit digging, it seems like this is the new and improved formula for the I'm Tint Balm line. I will do a comparison of the 2 to see if the formula really improved. I've been really loving the tint balm trend, so this is just another to add to my collection!
I'm Stick Shadow #03 Good Afternoon
I'm Stick Shadow
$7.5, #03 Good Afternoon

Product Description: A retractable stick type eyeshadow. It can be used to color and define the eyes. It's waterproof and crease resistant formula is long lasting as well. Good Afternoon is a pretty golden brown color.

My Thoughts: I generally use stick eyeshadows to highlight my inner corners, however, this one in Good Afternoon would be a little too dark for that. I can't decide if I want to try it out full on for my lids or if I should find it another good home. I might have to think more on that.

★     ☆     ★     ☆     ★

Final Thoughts: This is a decent box. I'm clearly leaning more towards the tint balm and cream shadow than the other products in this box. The mask is good, and I can't wait to try it and review it. The tint balm is one that I am super excited to test out. I'm excited to use the cream shadow too, let's hope it's long lasting. I do want to test out the lip liquid, however, I'm not sure what I'll be doing with the stick shadow yet. As for the mascara, I might end up giving it away since I already have one just like it. I guess only time will tell.

Until next time and dream big!
