End Of 2016 Haul: Memebox

End Of 2016 Haul: Memebox

Hey Dreamers and Creators!

2016 was our low-buy year. We had accumulated so many beauty products in 2015 that we knew it would last us for the whole year and more. However, as it's almost a tradition for us to do some end of the year shopping due to amazing deals, we picked up a few beauty goodies that's been on our wishlists. There will be 2 parts to our end of year haul just as it was last year. The first haul is from Memebox and the second is from Yesstyle. Let's get to know the goodies we got from Memebox first!
Neogen Code 9 Gold Black Caviar Essence & Gold Tox Tightening Pack Kit

Neogen Code 9 Gold Black Caviar Essence & Gold Tox Tightening Pack Kit

We've been eyeing this all-in-one essence/exfoliator combo for almost 2 years now and we finally picked it up. It was a hard product to find and for a while no one local was carrying it, so we waited. This essence/exfoliator is similar to the 7 Seconds Morning Sheets from Skin Factory. The concept is pretty much the same, with the main difference being that the essence/sheets come separately in Neogen's version. That and of course the ingredients are different as well. We can't wait to try this and compare it to the 7 Seconds Morning Sheet.
Cosrx Holy Moly Snail Mask & Ettand Peeling Soothing mask

Ettang Peeling Soothing Mask

This Peeling Soothing Mask hasn't been on our wishlist for long but it's something we've both wanted to try. The 2-step mask promises to clear and hydrate the skin. The first step works to remove dead skin cells while clearing out the pores. Its second step is a hydrating mask that can replenish the skin's moisture content while nourishing it. Sounds like a promising mask, doesn't it? We'll share our review of it soon!

Cosrx Holy Moly Snail Mask

Ah, the Cosrx Holy Moly Snail masks. These have been on our wishlist since it came out (which wasn't long ago). Like most Cosrx products, there's a big following for these masks as well. Many skincare lovers say these are their favorite masks, so we can't wait to test them out. The masks contain snail muscin as one of its main ingredients which is known to firm, hydrate, and nourish the skin.
Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick & Dragon Fruit Pore Remover

Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick

Michelle: This! Was one of the main reasons for this haul. I've had the Su:m37 Cleansing Stick on my wishlist for ages but somehow I always have a ton of cleansers to power through which made buying another cleanser seem kind of pointless. I mean I only have 1 face. So, I just kept this on my wishlist until it was time. This low pH cleanser promises great skincare benefits and I can't wait to test it out.

Half Moon Eyes Dragon Fruit Pore Remover Triple Set

This was our one and only spontaneous buy in this haul. We're pretty sure the words 'dragon fruit' drew our attention and the rest was history. We've never tried any skincare products with dragon fruit as one of its main ingredients, so the idea of it is just interesting. Hopefully it turns out as good as it sounds.

Mise En Scene Perfect Repair Treatment & Anskin Eco-Cup Modeling Mask: Lifting & Detox

Mise En Scene Perfect Repair Treatment

Michelle: This is a repurchase for me. This is actually my 3rd tube and I have a love-hate relationship with it! I'll be the first to admit that it's not as a perfect hair treatment as its name suggests. It's good but not perfect. The treatment contains that ingredient people tell you to avoid (or use in moderation) in hair care products, which is dimethicone. I haven't decided my stance on it but I do think it depends on the hair care product and how often you use it. This one in particular doesn't seem too bad for my hair. I actually use it as a bi-weekly treatment for my hair and it always leaves my hair soft and silky. It also helps to add a bit of volume to my hair, which I always welcome. I've never had any issues with potential build-up on silicone, although I do use it rather sparingly so that might be one of the reasons as well.

Anskin Eco-Cup Modeling Mask: Lifting & Detox

Helen: I have had my ups and downs with modeling masks. I still have not found a favorite and more often than not I have troubles with getting it to the perfect texture. I really wish there was a easier way for these but maybe mix-it-yourself masks are just not for me. However, I am not giving up on it yet. I am determined to find at least one that I will like, so here we are with this Eco-Cup modeling mask. Hopefully, the Anskin mask will have more to offer than the ones I have tried previously.
