Review: November Love With Food Box and Free Box

Have you ever purchased a mystery food box before? I did recently and got the Love With Food subscription. I've been eyeing the Love With Food Box for months. Some of their boxes looked delightful and others looked okay, so I wasn't sure if I wanted it or not. However, I finally pulled the trigger and decided to give it a try.
Love with Food

Love With Food is a monthly (mystery) food and snack sampling subscription box. Each box contains a variety of food and snacks, and for every box purchased and shipped, they donate one meal to a hungry child in the US. They currently only ship to US and territories. Let's see what's in the November box!
Love with Food box November

I was so excited when I got the little red box on my door step. It was a little banged up but everything inside was okay. For those who have been eyeing the Love With Food box like I did but have not pulled the trigger, I have a link here for you to get your first box free (you only need to pay $2 for shipping/ handling)! The subscription I purchased is the Tasting Box which contains 8 or more snacks in each box. The Tasting Box costs $12 per month, this is $10 for the box of snacks plus $2 for shipping and handling.

The theme for November is "Baby, it's cold outside". A box of snacks that will not only warm you heart but also your home.
promotions and coupons

Like most subscription boxes, the Love With Food box comes with a description pamphlet that describes the products inside the box. This box also came with a coupon for chocolates, a Rachel Ray recipe book and a gift card for $25 off Le Tote.
recipe book

I'm showing you the recipe book first because I love collecting new recipes, mixing them with my current ones to create new dishes. I watch food network a lot in my spare time, which is non-existent right now since I'm preparing to take one of the biggest tests in my life for graduate school. However, I'm happy to add this booklet to my vast collection and can't wait to create some delectable dishes when I have time again.
Jers Chocolates: Milk Chocolate Peanut ClusterWhole Spice All Purpose Seasoning Salt
Jers Chocolates: Milk Chocolate Peanut Cluster
I'm usually a dark chocolate fan but these were pretty good. The slightly salty peanuts in the sweet milk chocolate made the cluster a tasty treat.

Whole Spice: All Purpose Seasoning Salt
I was not expecting seasoning in the snack box, however, I'm pretty happy with this mix. It came with a sweet potato fries recipe on the back of the pouch. I've already tried the recipe and loved the result. I also love that the pouch comes with resealable packaging.

Dick and Jane Baking Company: States and Capitals Educational Snacks
Such creative designs for cookies, I did look at each one of them before I ate it lol. a bit sad that the package only contained 6 cookies and they weren't big either.

Marlo's: Mignight Soft Baked Biscotti
I really liked the biscotti, it's delicious! Would of been perfect to pair it with coffee or tea, although I just ate it by itself and it was good that way too.
Guylian: Truffles
Guylian: Truffles
I preferred the dark chocolate truffle over the milk chocolate one. Not the best chocolates I've ever had but not the worst either. The shape of the truffle is a seahorse, which is unique and I did like that each chocolate was nicely and individually packaged.
Grains Of Health: Laiki™ Red Rice Chips
Grains Of Health: Laiki Red Rice Chips
I thought these rice crackers would be pretty plain, however, they were alright. It's also nice to know that these rice crackers were created with only 3 ingredients. A simple yet delicious mix.
Chipz Happen: Cinnful Sweet Heat Tortilla Chips
Chipz Happen: Cinnful Sweet Heat Tortilla Chips
These were my least favorite in the box. Not a fan of the cinnamon and cayenne mix. I like them both separately though just not together.
Fruit Bliss: Dried Mini Figs
Fruit Bliss: Dried Mini Figs
These pair nicely with wine and we enjoyed them a lot.

Final Thoughts:
Overall this was a good box of snacks. There was only 1 snack I didn't like, however, other members of the family did like it, so it's a preference thing. Pretty happy with my subscription and can't wait for next month!

Until next time and dream big!
