SNP Character Face Cat Wrinkle Face Art Mask Review

SNP Character Face Cat Wrinkle Face Art Mask Review

Hey Dreamers and Creators!

Happy Monday!

It's time for another Mask Monday review. Today, I am reviewing the SNP Character Face Cat Wrinkle Face Art Mask. I purchased these alongside the Rabbit Whitening face art masks and the Squirrel Aqua face art masks by the same brand. I would say these were my spontaneous purchases because I was drawn to their designs. Today's review will be a little different as you'll hear thoughts from both myself and my mom. You'll see why below. Anyways, let's get to know the masks~

Packaging: Adorable as always. This Cat Wrinkle Face Art mask has really cute cat face art designs with paw prints on one side and balls of yarn on the other. The mask packaging is dominated by the color magenta red. It's got the face art design, name of mask, and a snippet of information on the front. The back side has the rest of the information, with majority of it being in Korean. However, the ingredients and directions are in English. There's also an authenticity sticker as well. I shared a tutorial on how to check the mask's authenticity here

Scent: A sweet floral scent. Not overwhelming but more than mild.

Color: The essence is clear in color. The mask sheet comes with the cat face art design.

Texture: The mask sheet feels a bit tough and not tearable. It can start to feel tight on the skin when the mask starts to dry.

Michelle's Thoughts: As unfortunate as it might be, I was unable to try this mask full on. I noticed that the mask has 2 carrot ingredients, the root extract and seed oil. I am allergic to carrots. Although only raw carrots and not ones cooked for more than 2 or 3 or 4 hours. Weird, I know, but apparently it's quite a common thing among those who have some pollen allergies. My mom ended up trying the masks out, and you'll see her thoughts on it below. I did patch test the essence from her masks on my arm and didn't see much of a reaction. There was a bit of redness though, so I didn't want to chance it on my face which is more sensitive than my arm.

Helen's Thoughts: It is too bad that my daughter could not try this mask on because it is a super cute mask. Well, more for me. I did like this mask, but I think it could have been better. I was okay with the sweet floral scent this mask came with, it is more than mild but not overwhelming. The mask promote itself as a wrinkle care mask but the results were not as good as I had hoped. It did moisturize my skin and my face did feel a bit more supple afterwards. However, it had very minimal effects on my wrinkles. The mask did brighten my skin a bit, which I suspect is due to its lime water ingredient.

The fit of the mask was not all that great for me, but the cute design won me over. I ended up making some extra slits on the mask to help it fit better. One thing to note is that the essence can feel a bit sticky before it is fully absorbed. I was patting in the essence after I took the mask off and it began to feel sticky. I ended up leaving it alone for it to absorb by itself. Took about a good ten minutes. However, once the essence was absorbed it did not feel sticky anymore. I was able to apply the rest of my skincare routine with no issues as well.

sheet mask face art design

Pros:
-moisturizes
-brightens
-skin feels a bit supple after use

Cons:
-one size fits all mask, might not fit everyone
-very minimal wrinkle care

Rating: ❤ ❤ ❤

Final Thoughts: This mask felt more like a moisturizing/brightening mask than a wrinkle care mask and that was its biggest disappointment. It had very minimal noticeable wrinkle care and sometimes none noticeable at all. While it can add a bit of suppleness to the skin, the effect was not the same for each mask use. Despite all that, it did have some upsides. The mask was able to provide moisture to the skin and it felt rather soothing when worn. It did brighten up the skin a bit as well.

Repurchase this in the future? Probably not. Is this product worth a try? Maybe. If you love the cute face art design and is not allergic or sensitive to any of its ingredients, then this is worth a try. It you are looking for a mask with great wrinkle care effects, this probably won't provide that.

Until next time!

Helen and Michelle
