Memebox Korean Beauty Secrets with Kerry and Coco Box Unboxing

Memebox Korean Beauty Secrets with Kerry and Coco Box Unboxing

Hey Dreamers and Creators!

Korean Beauty seems to be all the craze for 2015 and it's only going to get crazier for 2016. A lot of brands opened up shop here in the US and in other countries and even books were published on the subject. One of the many books published last year on K-Beauty is the Korean Beauty Secrets by Kerry and Coco. They also teamed up with Memebox to curate a box for their book launch and that is what I will be unboxing today.

This box came with the Korean Beauty Secrets book by Kerry and Coco as well as 5 products they like. This box contains quite a few neat products and one of these products is a personal favorite of mine that I have been using for ages. Anyways, let get to know these goodies!

Korean Beauty Secrets book by Kerry and Coco
Korean Beauty Secrets book by Kerry and Coco

Product Description: This Korean Secrets book is your guide to navigating the fascinating world of Korean Beauty. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned pro, this book will surely come in handy. The book shares about beauty methods for every skin type as well as a great guide to assessing your skin.

My Thoughts: The star attraction of this box is of course the book. I now actually have both this book and the book Charlotte from Sokoglam published on Korean beauty as well. I think I might be doing some book reviews in the future. I've read a few chapters of this book and it's a interesting read even for a seasoned K-beauty lover like myself. I think this book is definitely worth a read if you are interested in K-beauty.

Clio Kill Black Eyeliner + Makeup Remover
Clio Kill Black Eyeliner + Makeup Remover
0.55ml and 20ml, $25

Product Description: A waterproof eyeliner that applies easily and smoothly. The felt tip allows for easy and precise application. It's got a rich black color that very pigmented. The formula performs well and keeps it from running or flaking. This set also comes with a makeup remover which is great at removing the toughest beauty products.

My Thoughts: Clio's Gelpresso liners are some of my favorites but I've yet to try this Kill Black eyeliner. I expect great things though and I can't wait to test it. I think I'll probably do a review of it too. The makeup remover is a deluxe sample size, seems like a great candidate for Sample Saturday.
Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer
Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer
10g, $5.5 - $8

Product Description: An eye primer for the eyelid areas to help enhance eyeshadow colors and provide long lasting looks. Use the primer wand to tab a small amount onto the lids then blend it out evenly with your ring finger.

My Thoughts: I have reviewed this Etude House eye primer before and if you remember, it's my favorite. It works as good as UD without its hefty price tag. The doe foot applicator is easy to use and I can easily control how much or how less primer I want to use. This eye primer also lasts for quite a long time too. I have a few of these stocked up and I really like it.

Nooni Snowflake Cleanser
Nooni Snowflake Cleanser
120g, $16

Product Description: A unique cleansing sherbet that changes its texture as you cleanse. So you can enjoy the benefits of a cleansing balm, cleansing oil, and cleansing milk. This cleanser is formulated with Jeju spring water to promote vitality and elasticity of the skin.

My Thoughts: This Nooni Snowflake Cleanser was an interesting sherbet cleanser that I tried. It's not as awesome as my favorite sherbet cleanser but it's still pretty good. It was able to remove most of my makeup but failed a bit at removing my toughest lip tint. However, if you are like me and uses a separate lip and eye makeup remover this would not be a big issue. Sherbet cleansers are also a lot easier to travel with than liquid makeup removers which is a big plus.
Dr. G Hydra Fresh pH Mist
Dr. G Hydra Fresh pH Mist
60ml, $15

Product Description: A hydrating mist that's great for sensitive and dry skin types. It leaves a refreshing finish and adds a boost of moisture to the skin any time of the day. It's very easy to use and easy to travel with. To use, hold the mist about 15 to 20 cm away from face and spray. This can be used before or after makeup.

My Thoughts: I have been super into mists last year and it looks like that will continue onto this year too. I've been on the hunt for the best mists and there are just so many to try. I can't wait to test this one out and review it for you guys.
Goodal Moisture Barrier Cream
Goodal Moisture Barrier Cream
sample size 10ml

Product Description: A nighttime moisturizer formulated with mango seed butter to help seal in moisture. It's a nourish cream that also contains niacinamide to help brighten the skin. It also contains antioxidant rich camellia extract, lotus extract, and ceramide 3 to help protect the skin and strengthen its barrier.

My Thoughts: I got a sample of this in a previous box and I have not gotten around to testing it yet. I am currently testing something else, so this will have to wait. I've heard a lot of good thing about Goodal products, so I am looking forward to trying this cream.

Final Thoughts: If you are looking to buy the book and want to try out some K-beauty products, then you might as well buy this box because it's great. The book is obviously the star of this box. I like what I've read so far and can't wait for the weekend when I'll have more time to read. The products in this box are great. It's got my favorite eye primer, a decent cleanser, and some products I've been wanting to try. I am especially excited for the mist and the eyeliner set, which I can't wait to try. Overall, this is a great box and definitely worth it.
